I got hold of these over-the-knee socks a little while ago, and have since been trying to figure out how to wear them without looking too schoolgirlish. I still felt a bit girly wearing them though. Perhaps it was the abundance of bows and spots featured in the outfit? I kept my makeup and hair simple, and paired them with my favourite heels – ankle straps work better when wearing heels with socks, rather than a plain stiletto, in my opinion (plus they keep your shoes from slipping off!).
