John French (1906-1966) was one of the top fashion photographers on the London scene in the 1950s to 1960s. He worked with many famous models of the time and his work was published in almost every newspaper and magazine. I love how he plays with lighting and contrast to highlight the curves of his models and enhance the mood of the images. Here are just some of his best works.
