This weekend marked the inaugural Vintage Fashion Expo hosted by The Vintage Experience, a two-day extravaganza featuring some 28 vintage and thrift clothing sellers, cheeky Black Orchid burlesque beauties, live music, a Charlie Chaplin mime and loads of delicious things to eat and drink. It took place at QV54 in Cape Town – a very fitting venue with its towering domed ceilings and opulent Art Deco details. Lehza Vintage only traded on the Saturday, but we had an extremely successful day and thoroughly enjoyed seeing some familiar faces and some new ones too. What was especially exciting was meeting some of our regular bidorbuy clients whom we’d never met in person before.
The Expo will be an annual event, so in the meantime you can catch us every second month at the monthly Truth markets. We would like to extend a big thank you to all the shoppers that supported us and to Tarryn and Chloe of The Vintage Experience for organizing yet another successful event.
