A few weeks ago I was invited by the Blaauwklippen Vineyards Family Market to trade at their first Vintage Day, which took place over the weekend. Some of you who are from the Winelands or Helderberg area might already know of the Blaauwklippen Vineyards Family Market which happens every Sunday, and last week the organizers decided to host their first vintage-themed day. It was the first time I traded at an actual market, as all my dealings normally take place online. I was somewhat nervous and didn’t know what to expect, but excited at the same time. The response was better than expected as some people showed up who had seen the event on facebook, plus I got to meet and connect with some new local vintage lovers. For those who couldn’t make it (and missed out!), I took plenty of photos of my stall for all to see. It was a great experience and I’m looking forward to the next one!
