Last week we traded at the second Vintage Wednesdays night market in Cape Town. The venue, TRUTH.Coffecult, made for an interesting change with its strong steampunk/ industrial decor and vibe, but still complemented the fashions and personalities that were found at the market. It was a casual affair, which gave sellers and buyers alike an opportunity to mingle over a beer or espresso, to the tunes of some of my favourite artists, such as Blondie, Nirvana, Baccara and others. There was an abundance of pretty dresses, fashionable people, laughs and caffeine – what more could one want?
